So, if you are like most people, you would want to wear your smart bracelet everywhere. After all, who does not want access to technology, quite literally, on their hands?

However, the smart bracelet runs on a battery. So, you need to charge it at some point in time. There are several ways to charge a smart bracelet. And some of them do not even need a charger.

How Do You Charge a Smart Bracelet?

Usually, you would want to remove the straps of the smart bracelet. You would then notice pins on the body of the smartwatch. You should connect these golden pins to your charger. Ensure that the charging cable is taut against the charger. If you leave any gaps between your adapter and the table, your device would not be able to take up the charge. Therefore, you should ensure that you insert the cable properly into the adapter.

How Do You Charge Your Smart Bracelet Without a Charger?

There are many ways to charge a smart bracelet without a charger. If you do not have a charger at hand, you can use a power bank, or charge it via USB. You can even use your phone to charge your smart bracelet! That said, you could carry a portable wireless charger to charge your device easily.

Can I Charge My Smartwatch with Any Charger?

Yes and No. You should be able to charge your smartwatch with any charger if it is compatible with your device. Generally, chargers of a comparable generation would be compatible with the device. If your charger is able to charge your smartwatch, you would see the symbol of a lightning bolt on the battery icon of your device.

Or, depending on the device, you should be able to see an LED display. However, if you do not see any indication, you should not try to force-fit the charger to your device. Nonetheless, some third-party devices can slow down your smartwatch. Thus, you must use the original charger for your smartwatch whenever possible.

How Do You Charge a 4 Pin Smartwatch Without a Charger?

The number of pins you can associate smartwatches with, vary according to their model and make. This is an important parameter when it comes to charging your device. So, if you have a 4-pin smartwatch and you have lost the charger that comes with it, do not worry. You can still charge it via USB. You should specifically look for a USB that works with a 4-pin device.

How To Charge Smartwatch with Phone

This is one of the most convenient methods to charge your smartwatch. There are two ways to charge your smartwatch using your phone. In the first way, you can charge your device without using any wires. As much as it sounds unreal, you can take the following steps to actually transfer charge from your phone to your smartwatch:

Step 1: First, check the amount of charge you have on your phone. It is because you will be using this charge for your smartwatch. So, you want to ensure that you have at least a minimum of 30% charge on your phone. Otherwise, your phone will not be able to transfer its charge to your battery. Your phone is manufactured in a way that does not allow the powershare feature to function without this minimum charge. Further, you should remember that your phone’s battery will drain much faster if you use it to charge any other device.

Step 2: Next, you need to swipe down on your home screen. This will reveal all features or settings that you can access quickly. Among them, you will notice the powershare feature. That said, if you cannot find it, you can click on the gear icon after you have swiped down. You will be able to access all the settings of your phone now. You can find the feature there. Also, you can add this to your quick settings screen so that you can find it faster the next time.

Step 3: Now all you need to do is to tap on the powershare icon. Once you have done that, you will see a message saying that the phone is ready to charge.

Step 4: Place your smartwatch at the center of your phone on the backside. You should ensure that your smartwatch’s body touches your phone back-to-back. If the devices are not close enough, your phone will not be able to transfer any charge. Further, you should position them correctly. You should do that in order to ensure that their coils are aligned correctly. Only then would your smartwatch be able to take up the charge from your phone. That said, you may not be able to find the right position the first time you try. You could try rotating the devices a bit to find the most suitable position.

Step 5: Once you have found the right position, you will see a message saying that your smartwatch is now charging. This message will be on your phone. You should also check your smartwatch. It will have a display indicating that it is taking up the charge.

Step 6: Now you should leave both the devices undisturbed. This is because changing the orientation of the devices would either slow down the process or stop it completely. Once you have charged your smartwatch enough, you can stop the process. You can remove the smartwatch from your phone.

Step 7: After you remove your smartwatch from your phone, you will be able to see the powershare screen again. All you have to do is to press cancel. This will turn off the powershare feature. Further, you just leave the devices separately. The powershare button will turn off on its own if it does not detect any device.

You should also note that the powershare feature will not work on all devices. It would vary between manufacturers. Therefore, the devices must be compatible with each other for it to work. Also, using this feature may interrupt calls or the internet connection. If for some reason, the powershare feature does not work on your device, you can try cleaning your devices. Sometimes, the collection of dust on either device will affect the charging process.

In the second way to charge your smartwatch using your phone, you would need an OTG cable and a data cable. An OTG cable is an on-the-go adapter. It lets your phone use several other devices. For example, you can connect your phone to a printer or transfer photos from a camera to it. In this case, your phone acts as a reserve for a charge. On the other hand, a data cable lets any device transmit information from it. It also allows the other device to receive such information. Thus, your phone transfers charge from it to your smartwatch via the data cable. To make use of it, you can take the following steps:

Step 1: Connect the OTG and data cables with each other

Step 2: Connect the free end of the OTG cable with your phone

Step 3: Then, Connect your data cable with your smartwatch

Once you have taken these steps, you will see that your smartwatch is charging.

How Do I Charge My Smartwatch via USB?

A USB allows the transfer of digital information or data from one device to another. A USB port has some pins on the inner side and some on its outer side. The latter carry charge from your device to another. Thus, you can use this feature to transfer charge to your smartwatch. You can find a USB port on your smartwatch, usually by removing the straps. Next, you can insert a USB cable into the port and connect it to a power source. This source can also be your laptop or computer. However, you should make sure that the USB is compatible with your device. It is because different USB cables come with different purposes.

Charge Your Watch from Power Bank

Another easy way to charge your smartwatch is by using a power bank. You only need to connect your watch to the power bank, and it will begin charging. You can use some power banks to charge both – your phone and your smartwatch.

Use Portable Wireless Chargers

For those who travel, a portable wireless charger is the best solution for their electronic devices. These are also compatible with smartwatches. Here are the steps you can follow to charge your smartwatch in this method:

  1. Connect the portable charger to a power outlet in the wall. You can do this by connecting a charging stand to the power outlet.
  2. Place your smartwatch in the right position.

Conclusion

Hope some of these methods would be useful to you when you do not have access to a charger. However, these are not the most efficient ways to charge your device. If you want to charge your device in a fast and safe method, you are better off with the original charger.
